Synopsis：

Yuki was adopted by the Lai’s and she grew up with their two sons: Zhih-zhe and Zhih-ren. Although the family loved Yuki as if she is their own daughter, they couldn’t support her anymore during their financial distress and could only sell 8-year-old Yuki to the Nakasi, so that she could do odd jobs to earn her own livelihood.
After 10 years, 18 year-old Yuki is an exquisite young lady who can sing beautifully. She’s waiting desperately until her work contract expires, but the Lai family keeps postponing their promise to bail her out because Zhih-ren keeps getting into trouble. Ming-yi Grew up in the ghettos, and he went to the Nakasi to become a drummer so that he could stay near Yuki. Although he can’t save her from this life, he’s always been there for her. One day, Yuki meets Zhan,Wen-chang, a young man from an affluent family aiming to be a lawyer. As a sickly young man, Yuki saved Wen-chang once when his asthma attacked. To repay Yuki for her kindness, Wen-chang wishes to marry her so that she can leave the Nakasi band, but Wen-chang’s family is against it.
A frenzied Zhih-ren tries to pay back his debt by drugging Yuki and giving her to the gangster boss, A-chen. Luckily, Ming-yi saves her just in time. Ming-yi’s kindness and care warms Yuki’s long-battered heart. The two of them decide to run away together and hide from A-chen’s frantic pursuit. When A-chen sees the two of them together, he goes mad for revenge. In the midst of all the chaos, A-chen dies from Ming-yi’s self-defense. Many years later, when Wen-chang becomes a lawyer, he defends Yuki and Ming-yi in court and finally proves them innocent.

被賴家收養的Yuki與賴家兩子~子哲與子仁一起成長，賴家對Yuki視為親生，疼愛有加，無奈家道中落，只好把八歲的Yuki賣到那卡西打雜。
10年光陰，18歲的Yuki歌好人美，氣質出眾，等著賣身約滿後離開，但子仁到處捅簍子，賴家把贖回Yuki的承諾一再拖延。貧民區一起長大的明益，為了Yuki到那卡西當鼓手，雖然無法讓Yuki脫離苦海，卻始終在身邊陪伴。此時，Yuki遇見了世家子弟學法律的詹文昌。文昌體弱多病，因氣喘發作被Yuki所救，文昌感念想娶Yuki，但不被詹家接受。
子仁喪心病狂下藥迷昏Yuki想獻給黑道大哥阿成，被明益及時救出，明益的舉動，溫暖了Yuki千瘡百孔的心，為了躲避阿成，兩人遠走天涯。阿成發瘋似的尋找他們，竟目賭二人親密狀憤而進行報復，未料紛亂之際，阿成命喪自衛的明益手中！多年後文昌成為律師，替Yuki與明益辯護，終於還給二人清白。
