Synopsis：

Lee's Traditional Pastry Shop has been around for more than 100 years. Though, outwardly, the Lee family, which comprises three generations, seems quite happy and harmonious, there have been some hidden problems. One problem is an illegitimate son, born out of the wedlock, fathered by Mr. Lee who is the owner of the shop when he was young and mothered by another woman. Hau Wong, who is the wife of Mr. Lee, has tried to adopt the illegitimate son, but the illegitimate son's natural mother refused the request. From that point on, Mrs. Lee has been treating the illegitimate son badly. Another problem is the fact that Wen-Fong, who is the daughter of Mrs. Lee's eldest son, Zai-Chuan Lee, wandered off at the age of three over 20 years ago. Though Zai-Chuan's wife, Bi-Hua, has long suspects that her adoptive daughter, Cheng-Nan, was responsible for the matter, Bi-Hua has not been able to get any concrete evidence. Wen-Fong got lost more than 20 years ago and thus many other people may forget the matter, but Bi-Hua has not given up her wish to seek and find Wen-Fong. Though Cheng-Nan has tried very hard to please Bi-Hua, Bi-Hua has shown indifference and unresponsiveness towards Wen-Chi

One day, the illegitimate son, Zai-Xing Lee, brings his wife, Li-Yun, with him to visit the family. Outwardly, the illegitimate son and his wife want to become a part of the Lee family; in fact, they are after the family's fortune. Though all members of the family can see their wicked intention, each one of the family responds to the matter differently. The illegitimate son and his wife are glad that they may have an opportunity to get what they want. In the mean time, Suei-Bo Lin, who has been an archrival of Wan-Shih Lee, is waiting for the right moment to deliver a single fatal blow to break the shop.

Will the shop and the Lee family be able to weather the storm? Is Wen-Fong, who is supposed to be the rightful fourth generation successor and owner of the shop, still alive? Will Cheng-Nan NAN be satisfied with no reciprocity after so much effort that she has put in?
