Synopsis：

Chi-shuan is a young and rich blockhead who judges people only by their appearance. He began the personal transformation when he met Chung,Wu-yan, a clever woman with a blemish in her face. No one is perfect and only when we accept those imperfections can we find the heart-touching love. The stories that took place 17 years ago are being unveiled one after another as Wu-yan is forced to promise Chi-wei to cohabitate with Chi-wei and become his special assistant. Howard predicts that she will be back to him full of misery.

Wu-yen discovers that Howard never goes to the hospital. After investigation, she realizes that there is a chance for Howard's eyes to be cured. Wu-yen is even more curious to know what makes him willing to live in darkness for the rest of his life. Ying-chun is going to act in the TV commercial of the Chi's Corporation and falls deep in love with Chi-shuan. Chi-shuan would give Ying-chun everything she asks for while she is very attentive to him. Wu-yen, in contrast, would only give annoying business instructions when meeting him.

As Chi-wei learns about the affair going on between Chi-shuan and Ying-chun, he demands Chi-shuan to marry Wu-yen immediately and Chi-shuan refuses to do so. He is stuck on Ying-chun in rebellion to Chi-wei. Wu-yen can only suppress her affection towards Chi-shuan.

Wu-yen rescued Chi-shuan in a fire. After dressing her wounds, Wu-yen comes to the ward only to see Chi-shuan and Ying-chun billing and cooing. She turns back and leaves in despair. One night, Chi-shuan was shocked by a big burn from Wu-yen's body and feels a deep gratitude and guilt after knowing that it was her who saved his life. Chi-shuan is softened in the heart and agrees to enter into a "false marriage" with Wu-yen to ease the mind of Chi-wei...
