Synopsis：

This play is based on the baseball game in 1960s, and the story is developing from the Maple Leaf Baseball Team, which won the game under rare financial support at Hualien in 1960s.

The chief actor is a deserter from the army; he escaped to Hualien and became the coach of the baseball team accidently. He leaded the simple-minded children to strive for more resources from the baseball games and learn to face difficulties in life, and grow in the relationship of friend, love and family. Finally, under the effort by all people, they not just won the game but also got the courage to pursue their dreams and enthusiasm to baseball.

本劇是以60年代棒球比賽為主軸，將紅葉少棒的運動精神作為最高指標，闡揚60年代的花蓮少棒隊在有限經費資源下，艱苦努力奮鬥的過程。

男主角是一位服役的軍人逃兵，來到了花蓮…，陰錯陽差變成了棒球隊的教練，帶著純樸的孩子攜手合作為進行中的棒球賽事取得更多資源，學習著面對人生困境，在友情、愛情與親情關係之中成長。最後在大家的努力下，隊員們贏得了不只是比賽，還有追尋夢想的勇氣與對棒球的熱情。
